Role Overview:
Ctruh is seeking a Business Head to lead end-to-end P&L ownership and drive the commercial growth of the company. Working directly with the founder, you will build and scale our revenue engine, establish operational excellence, and shape the long-term business strategy. This role demands a builder mindset, someone ready to create systems from scratch and steer Ctruh's growth trajectory.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Full P&L Ownership
- Own revenue, margins, and overall profitability of the business unit.
- Build and manage budgets, forecasts, and periodic business reviews.
- Improve unit economics and establish a roadmap for sustainable profitability.
- Make decisions on resource allocation, hiring, and market expansion.
- Report directly to the founder on performance, risks, and strategic initiatives.
2. Sales Leadership & Revenue Growth
- Build the sales team from the ground up: hiring, training, compensation, and performance management.
- Develop and execute GTM strategies for core verticals: Retail, Automotive, D2C, Real Estate.
- Own the full sales funnel - lead generation to closing strategic enterprise accounts.
- Create sales playbooks, forecasting systems, processes, and CRM workflows.
- Establish channel partnerships to expand reach and accelerate growth.
3. Operations & Execution
- Build customer success and account management functions for retention and expansion.
- Define pricing models, packaging strategies, and commercial structures.
- Implement systems for sales operations, order management, and revenue recognition.
- Ensure strong alignment across sales, product, delivery, and CS teams.
- Develop scalable onboarding and implementation processes.
- Build dashboards and reporting mechanisms for business health tracking.
4. Strategic Business Development
- Identify and analyze new market opportunities and expansion avenues.
- Lead partnerships with technology vendors, agencies, and integration partners.
- Influence product roadmap using customer insights and market signals.
- Develop business cases for new initiatives, offerings, or geographies.
- Represent Ctruh at industry events, conferences, and client engagements.
What We're Looking For:
1. Must-Have Qualifications
- 8-12 years of experience with minimum 5 years owning P&L responsibility.
- Proven ability to build revenue organizations from 0- 1 or early-stage (<$5M ARR).
- Strong B2B SaaS or enterprise software sales experience with complex deal cycles.
- Successful track record selling to enterprise clients in retail, e-commerce, automotive, or consumer brands.
- Strong financial acumen and experience building financial models.
- Experience hiring and leading high-performing sales and operations teams.
- Startup DNA - high ownership, comfort with ambiguity, and bias for action.
- Ability to work 6 days a week from the HSR Layout office (Bengaluru).
2. Highly Desirable
- Experience with AI/ML, 3D/AR/VR/XR, martech, or immersive tech.
- Background selling to digital transformation, retail ops, or marketing leaders.
- Experience in strategy consulting, growth-stage startups, or product-led companies.
- Technical fluency to collaborate with product and engineering teams.
- Experience working directly with founders in seed/Series A environments.
- Proven track record of scaling sales orgs 3-5x year-over-year.
