Position Overview:

We are looking for a Legal Manager - Indirect Tax to provide legal advisory on indirect and direct tax matters, handle litigation, and support business development. The role requires expertise in GST, VAT, Customs, Excise, Foreign Trade Policy, and Direct Tax laws.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Legal Advisory & Transaction Support: Advise clients on tax matters and transaction structuring.

- Research & Drafting: Conduct legal research and draft appeals, writ petitions, SCNs, and replies.

- Litigation & Representation: Represent clients before tax authorities and courts.

- Business Development: Identify opportunities with existing and new clients.

- Client Relationship Management: Build long-term client relationships and keep clients informed on legal updates.

- Internal Collaboration: Work with compliance teams and partners to solve client challenges.

Skill & Qualification:

- Education: LLB (Law Degree), certifications in tax laws a plus.

- Experience: 5+ years in indirect tax law, with a focus on GST, VAT, Customs, Excise, and Direct Tax.

- Skills: Strong research, drafting, and client management skills; experience in litigation and business advisory.
