Job Description Professional Oral Healthcare Manager.

Location: CPM Delhi.

Role Overview

The Professional Oral Healthcare Manager (POHM) will be responsible for leading and managing a team of Professional Oral Healthcare Executives (POHE) to drive advocacy, prescription generation, and sales of oral health care products in the paediatric channel.

This includes building strong relationships with paediatricians and chemists, ensuring scientific communication and achieving business objectives in assigned territories.

Key Responsibilities :

Team Management & Leadership :

- Recruit, train, and manage a team of Professional Oral Healthcare Executives (POHE).

- Provide coaching, field training, and performance evaluation for the team.

- Ensure the team adheres to company guidelines, compliance, and ethical promotion practices.

Business Development & Sales :

- Drive advocacy for oral care products among paediatricians and chemists.

- Ensure achievement of sales, coverage, and prescription generation targets.

- Develop and execute territory-wise business plans in alignment with organizational goals.

360 Engagement :

- Build and maintain long-term scientific relationships with paediatricians, Distributors, Client Teams in various departments and key opinion leaders (KOLs).

- Coordinate scientific discussions and product demonstrations / presentations.

- Collaborate with chemists and retail partners to ensure product availability and visibility.

Market Intelligence & Compliance :

- Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer feedback.

- Share insights with management for strategy refinement.

- Ensure strict compliance with regulatory requirements, medical marketing codes, and company SOPs.

Reporting & Administration :

- Review teams activity plans, call averages, productive calls, coverage reports and sales.

- Track team performance through daily reporting tools.

- Prepare monthly business review reports and recommend corrective actions where needed.

Qualifications & Skills :

- Graduate in Science / Pharmacy / Dental / Life Sciences or Healthcare.

- 5 - 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical / healthcare field force management / medical representatives management, preferably in paediatric or oral health care segment.

- Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills.

- Ability to manage scientific discussions with healthcare professionals.

- Proficiency in MS Office, reporting tools, and CRM platforms.

Key Success Indicators (KPIs) :

- Achievement of sales and prescription targets.

- Doctor coverage and engagement metrics.

- Team productivity (call averages, coverage, conversions).

- Compliance adherence and quality of scientific communication.

- Market share growth in the assigned geography.
