Job Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and strategic B2B Sales Lead to drive growth for our sports & fitness equipment business across Kerala.
This role involves leading a team, expanding institutional and commercial sales, and building strong relationships across fitness centres, residential communities, corporates, retailers, and government buyers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the B2B growth strategy for Kerala across institutions, corporates, retailers, government buyers, fitness centres, residential complexes, resorts, and gifting clients.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Territory Sales Managers (TSMs) across various districts to drive strong on-ground execution.
- Drive sales of sports and fitness equipment, accessories, and merchandise through institutional, retail, and commercial channels.
- Identify and expand business opportunities in the fitness segmentincluding gyms, boutique fitness studios, residential societies, gated communities, and resort properties.
- Grow institutional sales by engaging with schools, colleges, academies, clubs, corporates, and other large-volume buyers.
- Manage government procurement processes, including tenders, quotations, and full-cycle order handling via the GEM Portal.
- Ensure smooth end-to-end sales executionfrom lead generation, qualification, and proposal development to negotiation, closing, delivery coordination, and payment follow-up.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across institutions, government departments, retail partners, fitness operators, and commercial property managers.
- Own sales reporting, forecasting, pipeline visibility, and periodic performance reviews for internal management.
Requirements:
- 5-8 years of relevant B2B sales experience in sports equipment, fitness equipment, retail distribution, institutional sales, or corporate gifting.
- Experience selling to fitness centres, residential complexes, resorts, or commercial fitness projects (preferred).
- Strong working knowledge of GEM Portal operations and government tender processes.
- Leadership exposure with experience managing district-level or statewide sales teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong understanding of Kerala market dynamics, buyer behaviour, and institutional ecosystem (preferred).
