What You'll Be Doing:
- Corporate Legal Management: Independently manage and advise on a wide range of corporate legal matters, providing comprehensive support to various business functions.
- Contract Management: Oversee the drafting, review, negotiation, and management of diverse commercial contracts to safeguard the company's interests.
- Corporate Litigation: Strategically manage and advise on corporate litigation matters, working to achieve favorable outcomes while minimizing risk.
- Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A): Provide legal expertise and support for M&A activities, including due diligence, drafting transaction documents, and closing deals.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict compliance with regulations set forth by SEBI, MCA, and RBI, staying updated on all relevant legal and regulatory changes.
- Legal Issue Resolution: Efficiently handle complex legal issues, often under tight deadlines, providing timely and accurate advice.
- Drafting & Negotiation: Exhibit strong capabilities in legal drafting and negotiation, ensuring clarity, enforceability, and the protection of company interests in all agreements and communications.
- Strategic Legal Counsel: Apply a strong business understanding and strategic thinking to provide legal advice that supports the company's objectives and growth.
- Travel: Be open to inter-location travel as required to fulfill job responsibilities and support business needs.
What You Must Have:
- 7-12 years of post-qualification experience as a Corporate Lawyer, preferably within a corporate legal department or a reputable law firm specializing in corporate law.
- Proven ability to independently manage a broad range of corporate legal functions.
- Extensive experience with contract management, drafting, and negotiation.
- Strong understanding and practical experience with corporate litigation.
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with compliance requirements of SEBI, MCA, and RBI.
- Demonstrated capability in handling M&A legal aspects.
- Exceptional drafting and negotiation skills.
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking ability.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
