Description: Location: Himachal Pradesh Experience Required: 1518 Years Industry Preference: Consumer Goods, Durable Manufacturing We are seeking a dynamic and experienced COO/President (Factory Operations) to lead end-to-end plant operations for a leading brand in the durable manufacturing industry. This position requires an accomplished operations leader with deep exposure to consumer goods, dealer network servicing, vendor ecosystem management, and strong supply chain expertise. The ideal candidate should be a strategic thinker with hands-on leadership capabilities, a strong commitment to quality, and a proven track record of driving operational excellence through technology, process discipline, and best-in-class global practices. Key Responsibilities: Factory Operations Leadership: - Lead complete plant operations including production, quality, maintenance, supply chain, and logistics. - Ensure operational efficiency, adherence to SLAs, and alignment with business goals. - Implement and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly operational reviews. Supply Chain & Vendor Network Management: - Manage end-to-end supply chain across planning, procurement, vendor development, warehousing, and dispatch. - Develop and strengthen vendor network for cost, quality, and supply reliability. - Oversee inbound and outbound operations to ensure seamless material flow and finished goods movement. Dealer Network Servicing & Replenishment: - Build and manage servicing strategies for dealer networks across regions. - Optimise replenishment models to ensure timely availability of products. - Strengthen collaboration between plant, sales, and distribution teams for demand planning and fulfilment. Quality Excellence: - Champion quality culture across manufacturing processes. - Ensure adherence to domestic and international quality standards. - Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product performance and customer satisfaction. Technology & Process Transformation: - Drive adoption of technology, digital tools, and automation to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs. - Implement global best practices in manufacturing, supply chain, and quality systems. - Lead continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and TPM. People Leadership & Capability Building: - Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing factory and supply chain teams. - Build succession plans, training frameworks, and performance management structures. - Drive a culture of transparency, accountability, and operational ownership. Strategic Projects & Cross-Functional Alignment: - Collaborate closely with corporate leadership, sales, R&D, finance, and product teams. - Lead strategic capacity expansion, factory modernization, and long-term operational initiatives. - Ensure alignment between production capability and business growth objectives. Candidate Profile: - 15 - 18 years of experience in consumer goods or durable manufacturing industries. - Strong exposure to dealer network servicing, replenishment models, and distribution structures. - Hands-on expertise in supply chain management, vendor development, and vendor negotiations. - Experience in leading large factory operations and multi-functional manufacturing teams. - Strong believer in quality, technology-driven operations, and global best practices. - Excellent leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. - Ability to manage complex operational structures with high ownership
