Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive content strategies aligned with the organization's and clients' communication goals.
- Plan and oversee content calendars for digital platforms, press releases, campaigns, newsletters, and social media.
- Conceptualize creative themes and storytelling ideas for government initiatives, public campaigns, and brand communication.
- Ensure the tone, language, and style are consistent with brand identity and communication standards.
- Conduct content audits to evaluate effectiveness and recommend improvements.
- Lead and mentor a team of content writers, editors, designers, and video editors.
- Assign projects, review outputs, and ensure timely delivery of all content deliverables.
- Conduct training sessions to enhance team creativity, writing quality, and digital media understanding.
- Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and performance excellence.
- Oversee the creation of original, compelling, and accurate content for various mediums - including web, print, social media, and multimedia.
- Review and edit content to maintain quality, clarity, and consistency.
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure visual storytelling complements written content.
- Write and review press releases, articles, campaign scripts, video storyboards, reports, and speeches as required.
- Ensure that all content aligns with government guidelines and communication ethics when applicable.
- Work closely with government departments, agencies, and corporate clients to understand communication requirements.
- Translate briefs into effective content strategies and deliverables.
- Present content concepts and strategies to clients, incorporating feedback effectively.
- Ensure client satisfaction through proactive communication and high-quality delivery.
- Manage and optimize content across digital channels (websites, blogs, social media, newsletters, YouTube, etc.).
- Collaborate with digital marketing teams for SEO optimization, keyword integration, and audience engagement strategies.
- Analyze content performance metrics (views, reach, engagement, conversions) and refine strategies accordingly.
- Stay updated on emerging digital content trends, formats, and technologies.
- Conceptualize and lead integrated content campaigns for social impact, public awareness, and brand engagement.
- Coordinate with creative, design, PR, and digital teams for seamless campaign execution.
- Ensure content aligns with media plans and event-based communication strategies.
- Supervise the production of audio-visual content including short films, documentaries, and digital ads.
Key Requirements:
Educational Qualifications:
- Graduate degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, English, or any related field.
- Certification or diploma in Multimedia, Graphic Design, Video Editing, or related domain preferred.
Professional Experience:
- 7+ years of professional experience in content creation, communication, or media production.
- Minimum 4 years in a leadership or content management role.
- Experience working on government or public sector communication projects is highly desirable.
Technical & Creative Skills:
- Strong command over content strategy, storytelling, and editorial planning.
- Proficiency in English and Hindi (both written and spoken).
- Familiarity with SEO tools, social media analytics, and digital marketing concepts.
- Knowledge of content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress or Drupal.
- Basic understanding of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, After Effects) or equivalent tools.
