Description:


Position Summary:


The Area Business Head is responsible for driving new business acquisition through channel partners within the assigned territory.


The role demands strong sales ownership, pipeline development, channel expansion, revenue achievement, and customer relationship management.


The ABH will work closely with business teams to convert opportunities, ensure gross margin targets, and maintain overall profitability.


Key Responsibilities:


- Drive new business sales through channel partners in the assigned geographic territory.


- Identify, recruit, and onboard new channel partners to increase market penetration.


- Support partners with joint customer meetings, product presentations, and pitch strategies.


- Help partners sell company products/services through calls and in-person meetings.


- Conduct weekly reviews with partners to track pipeline, forecasting, and revenue progress.


- Achieve gross revenue and gross margin targets as per the Annual Operating Plan (AOP).


- Maintain regular engagement with partners/customers to ensure business and margin delivery.


- Generate new opportunities and build strong relationships with new and existing partners.


- Expand customer base by identifying untapped opportunities and strengthening partner relations.


- Complete sales activities aligned with organizational goals and performance expectations.


- Submit price quotes within the defined TAT and maintain periodic meetings with partners.


- Ensure receivable collection from partners within agreed timelines.

Selection CriteriaEssential:


- Graduate or MBA.


- 56 years of relevant sales/channel experience.


- Experience in key account management & market intelligence.


- Preferred industry: IT / ICT / Telecom / Enterprise Solutions.


- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.


- Strong communication, organizational skills, and ability to work independently.


Desirable:


- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


- Well-organized, responsible, and deadline-oriented.


- Flexible to handle pressure & adaptable to dynamic situations.


- Exposure to channel sales or channel management.


- High work ethics and strong result orientation.
