Compliance Professional - Legal

Company Overview :

- We at Workify Consulting have been mandated by our client , a boutique law firm for an experienced Compliance Professional with a strong experience in labour law background to work on-site at our client's office for a fixed-term period of 1 year.

- The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in corporate and regulatory compliance, risk management, and legal advisory, ensuring that our client's business operations remain fully compliant with applicable laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements across all business functions.

- Draft, review, and vet contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.

- Monitor, interpret, and implement changes in relevant laws, regulations, and industry guidelines.

- Advise stakeholders and management on legal compliance and risk exposure.

- Develop, review, and implement compliance policies, procedures, and frameworks.

- Conduct compliance audits and risk assessments to identify gaps and recommend corrective actions.

- Provide training and awareness sessions to employees on compliance and legal matters.

- Liaise with external regulatory authorities, auditors, and legal counsels as required.

- Support corporate governance initiatives and board-related compliances.

Desired Candidate Profile:.

- 8+ years of proven experience in legal and compliance roles, preferably in corporate/consulting environments.

- Strong knowledge of corporate laws, labor laws, regulatory compliance, and contract management.

- Excellent analytical, drafting, and negotiation skills.

- Strong stakeholder management and client-handling capabilities.

- Ability to work independently on-site with minimal supervision.

- Flexibility and commitment to a 1-year client-site assignment.
