Description:
- Qualified Company Secretary (CS), additional legal or finance qualifications (LLB, CA, CFA, MBA) preferred.
- 315 years of post-qualification experience.
- Prior experience in fund houses, NBFCs, private equity firms, family offices, or diversified industrial groups.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, corporate law, investment structuring, and governance frameworks.
- Excellent communication, drafting, and stakeholder management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure full compliance with Companies Act, SEBI, FEMA, RBI, and other applicable regulations.
- Manage board and shareholder meetings, prepare agendas, draft minutes, and maintain statutory registers.
- Provide strategic support in structuring investments, fund operations, and family office activities.
- Oversee statutory filings and ensure timely submission with regulators.
- Liaise with external stakeholders including auditors, legal advisors, fund managers, and consultants.
- Draft, review, and negotiate legal agreements, investment documents, and compliance reports.
- Implement best practices in corporate governance, risk management, and regulatory reporting.
- Coordinate with finance and investment teams for reporting and transaction support.
- Act as the advisory point to promoters and senior management on legal, compliance, and governance matters.
