Collinson - Senior Actuarial Analyst

Description:

- This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Actuarial Analyst located in Mumbai, with work-from-home flexibility.

- The Senior Actuarial Analyst will support the Actuarial Manager with quarterly and year end Reserving and Solvency financial reporting.

- They will be responsible for conducting actuarial analyses, developing and maintaining actuarial models, performing statistical analysis, and supporting financial reporting and forecasting.

Additionally, the role involves communicating findings and recommendations to stakeholders and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications:

- Strong Analytical Skills, Statistics, and Mathematics knowledge

- 2+ years non-life insurance modelling experience

- Effective Communication skills for conveying complex information

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment

- Relevant professional actuarial qualifications or progress towards obtaining them

- Proficiency in MS Office,

- Experience with R, Python, PowerBI and other tools would be beneficial

- Experience in the insurance industry is advantageous
