Job Purpose:

Based in Noida, the Global Business Operations Leader will serve as the engine room for the COO office, driving gross margin expansion, bottom-line efficiency, and resource optimization across Coforges global footprint. Reporting directly to the COO Program Office Lead, this leader will focus strictly on the business and financial hygiene of operations including pyramid engineering, bench optimization, utilization tracking, and dashboard management enabling the COO office to scale effectively.

(Note: Delivery governance, delivery frameworks, and SLA compliance are not part of this role and handled by the Head of Delivery Excellence).

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Hygiene & Margin Optimization:

- Margin Engineering: Drive aggressive margin expansion initiatives globally by managing structural costs, including pyramid optimization, spans and layers control, and sub-contractor mitigation.

- Efficiency Frameworks: Monitor cost-to-serve metrics and work closely with Business Unit operations teams to identify and plug operational or financial leakages.

2. Workforce Optimization & Supply Chain Tracking:

- Maximize Utilization: Own the global utilization target. Partner with RDG and Talent Acquisition to ensure rapid bench-to-project deployment and optimize the global resource supply chain.

- Inter-Functional Alignment: Act as the primary operational bridge between the COO office, Finance, HR, and Recruitment to align capacity planning with revenue forecasts.

3. Dashboard Management & Operational Analytics:

- Command the Systems: Oversee and scale the operational dashboards (e.g., Coforge Pulse) that track utilization, headcount, hiring pipelines, and operational spend. Ensure data integrity across all business units.

- Data-Driven Insights: Provide the COO and Program Office Lead with clean, predictive operational metrics, trends, and models to back stop critical business decisions.

4. Automation & Process Simplification:

- Operational Automation: Work closely with Program Office Lead to identify opportunities to automate internal COO office reporting workflows and business operations, shifting away from manual spreadsheets to real-time tracking systems.

Required Experience & Qualifications:

- IT Services Operations: 15+ years of progressive experience in IT Services, specifically within Business Operations (BizOps), Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) for delivery, or Central Workforce Management.

- Metric & Numbers Driven: Expert-level understanding of IT services financial metrics (Gross Margins, Utilization, Billability, Pyramid Costing, and Sub-con management).

- Dashboard & Tool Familiarity: Proven experience leveraging enterprise BI tools and management dashboards to track large-scale workforce data.

- Collaborative Execution: Strong navigation and stakeholder skills to gather data and drive compliance from BU operational teams without having direct delivery line-authority over them.

Education:

- Bachelors degree in a quantitative field; an MBA (Finance or Operations) is highly advantageous.
