We are seeking a strategic and dynamic HR Business Partner (HRBP) to work closely with business leaders and employees to drive organizational effectiveness, talent strategy, and workforce engagement. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical ability, business acumen, and a people-first mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic HR Partnering:
- Partner with business leaders to understand business goals and design HR interventions that support growth.
- Translate business priorities into HR strategies across talent, performance, capability building, and culture.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the leadership team on people-related matters.
2. Talent Management & Development:
- Lead manpower planning, talent reviews, and succession planning for assigned business units.
- Identify high-potential talent and collaborate with L&D for capability-building programs.
- Work with managers on career and development plans for employees.
3. Performance Management:
- Drive the annual performance management cycle-goal cascading, mid-year reviews, and final appraisals.
- Advise managers on performance conversations, feedback, and performance improvement plans (PIPs).
- Ensure fairness, consistency, and adherence to policy.
4. Employee Experience & Engagement:
- Own end-to-end employee lifecycle: onboarding, engagement, grievance redressal, and exit management.
- Drive engagement initiatives backed by data insights (pulse surveys, retention analysis).
- Address employee concerns with empathy, confidentiality, and business alignment.
5. Policy, Compliance & Governance:
- Ensure adherence to HR policies, labor laws, and statutory norms.
- Partner with the HR CoE teams (Comp & Ben, Talent Acquisition, L&D) for smooth execution of policies.
- Support audits and compliance processes.
6. HR Analytics & Reporting:
- Use HR dashboards to analyze trends-attrition, hiring, productivity, engagement, and compensation.
- Present insights to leadership and recommend data-backed decisions.
- Track HR KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong business acumen with the ability to align HR strategies to business goals.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and coaching skills.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle sensitive issues with discretion.
- Strong understanding of HR analytics and MS Excel/HRIS tools.
- Deep knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
- Experience as an HRBP in a fast-paced environment (hospitality, technology, services, FMCG, Pharma preferred but not mandatory).
- Prior work in a matrix organization will be an advantage.
Education:
- MBA/PGDM in Human Resources from a premium institute
- Strong academic background and foundational HR knowledge
