About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced and driven Cloud Sales Professional to lead and expand our business in the Government & Public Sector (Central/State/PSUs).

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of cloud solutions, government procurement processes, and a proven track record in enterprise/IT sales.

Key Responsibilities:

- Drive cloud sales initiatives within the Government & Public Sector to meet revenue and business targets.

- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities across Central Government, State Government, PSUs, and large public sector enterprises.

- Build strong relationships with key government stakeholders, IT decision-makers, consulting partners, and system integrators.

- Manage end-to-end sales cycles: prospecting, requirement gathering, solution positioning, proposal creation, bidding, negotiation, and closure.

- Work with internal technical and presales teams to deliver customized cloud solutions.

- Monitor tender portals (GeM, CPPP, e-procurement portals) and ensure timely participation in relevant bids.

- Maintain an updated pipeline, forecast accurately, and provide regular sales reports to leadership.

- Ensure compliance with government policies, procurement norms, documentation, and contract requirements.

- Stay updated with cloud market trends, competitors, and government cloud adoption initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- 3-8 years of experience in Cloud Sales / IT Infrastructure Sales / Enterprise Technology Sales.

- Mandatory experience in selling to Government departments/PSUs.

- Strong understanding of Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, Private Cloud, Hybrid Cloud).

- Excellent knowledge of government tendering, RFP processes, empanelment, and procurement.

- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

- Ability to work cross-functionally with technical teams and external partners.

- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing large enterprise accounts.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience working with system integrators, OEMs, or cloud service providers.

- Understanding of cybersecurity, data center, SaaS/IaaS/PaaS offerings.

- Certifications in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) are a plus.
