
A Human Resources (HR) Head is responsible for overseeing all aspects of HR management, aligning HR strategies with business objectives, and ensuring a positive and productive work environment. This includes talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, and HR policy development. The HR Head also manages the HR team, ensures legal compliance, and fosters a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Leadership:
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the hotel's goals, including workforce planning, talent acquisition, and performance management.
Talent Acquisition:
- Manage the full recruitment cycle, from job postings to onboarding, ensuring the hotel attracts and retains top talent.
Employee Relations:
- Address employee relations issues, mediate conflicts, and ensure a positive and respectful work environment.
Performance Management:
- Oversee performance evaluations, provide feedback and coaching, and implement development plans.
Policy Development and Compliance:
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with labor laws and hotel industry regulations.
Training and Development:
- Coordinate and deliver employee training programs, including onboarding and ongoing development initiatives.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Administer employee benefits programs, ensuring they are competitive and cost-effective.
HR Operations:
- Manage employee records, HR databases, and HR reporting.
Team Management:
- Supervise and mentor the HR team, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
Budget Management:
- Manage the HR department budget and ensure cost-effective operations.
Legal Compliance:
- Stay up-to-date on employment laws and regulations, ensuring the hotel's compliance.
Employee Engagement:
- Implement initiatives to improve employee morale, motivation, and retention.
Conflict Resolution:
- Handle employee grievances and disputes, mediating conflicts and promoting positive employee relations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
Experience:
- Significant experience in HR management, preferably within the hospitality industry, with a proven track record of success in strategic HR leadership, talent acquisition, employee relations, and performance management.
Skills:
- Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in HRIS and applicant tracking systems.
Knowledge:
- In-depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations, HR best practices, and the hospitality industry.
Personal Attributes:
