Role Overview:

We are seeking a visionary Chief Technology Officer to spearhead the technological transformation of our automotive components manufacturing business in Gurugram. In this pivotal leadership role, you will define the long-term R&D roadmap, oversee complex engineering operations, and drive the integration of Industry 4.0 standards across our production facilities. You will work closely with the Board of Directors, plant heads, and external technology partners to ensure our manufacturing processes remain at the cutting edge of global automotive standards. Your leadership will directly influence our competitive positioning, operational efficiency, and ability to deliver high-precision components to marquee automotive OEMs worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

- Architect and execute a comprehensive technology strategy that aligns R&D initiatives with evolving automotive market trends to secure long-term business growth.

- Drive the digital transformation of manufacturing floors by implementing automation and IoT-enabled systems to enhance throughput and reduce operational downtime.

- Lead cross-functional engineering teams to foster a culture of process excellence, ensuring that all product development cycles meet rigorous quality and safety benchmarks.

- Collaborate with global stakeholders to integrate sustainable manufacturing practices and advanced material science into our existing production lines.

- Oversee the capital expenditure for new technology adoption, ensuring that investments in Industry 4.0 infrastructure yield measurable improvements in cost-efficiency and output quality.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale engineering operations within the automotive or heavy manufacturing sector, with a proven track record of managing complex R&D portfolios.

- Expert-level proficiency in implementing automation, robotics, and smart factory solutions that translate into significant bottom-line impact.

- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical visions to board members and influence cross-functional teams toward unified operational goals.

- Strong strategic foresight to anticipate shifts in automotive technology, such as EV components or lightweight materials, and pivot organizational capabilities accordingly.

- A degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automotive Engineering from a premier institute, complemented by a deep understanding of lean manufacturing and quality management systems.

- Ability to thrive in a high-growth, on-site environment in Gurugram, maintaining a hands-on approach to problem-solving while mentoring the next generation of engineering leadership.

- 15 - 20 years of progressive leadership experience in the automotive components industry.
