Chief Security Officer - Retired Army Commissioned Officer (5-15 yrs)
Qualification & Background:
- Ex-Army Officer with rank of
Captain / Lieutenant / Lt. Colonel / ColonelMandatory : Prior experience in Security Administration in a reputed manufacturing organization
Language :
Proficiency in Kannada is essentialAdditional benefits as per company policy.
Experience:Minimum 2 to 5 years of post-Army experience in Security and Administration within manufacturing or industrial setupsAge: Above 40 years
Key Responsibilities:1.
Security & Administration Management- Oversee and manage overall plant security operations, including colony and mines security.
- Ensure effective asset protection, personnel safety, and loss prevention measures.
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and SOPs in alignment with company standards.
- Manage a team of security personnel, including recruitment, training, and discipline.

Access Control & Surveillance Systems- Ensure smooth functioning of Access Control Systems, CCTV monitoring, and visitor management systems.
- Supervise entry/exit of personnel, materials, and vehicles to maintain site security integrity.
- Oversee SAP entries related to material movements - Inward, Outward, RGP, and NRGP transactions.

Fire & Safety Management- Lead fire prevention and safety management initiatives across the plant and residential areas.
- Conduct fire drills, safety audits, and risk assessments in coordination with the safety team.
- Maintain fire-fighting equipment and ensure staff awareness and training on emergency procedures.

Materials Movement & Fraud Prevention- Monitor inbound and outbound material flow in compliance with company guidelines.
- Investigate and report incidents of theft, pilferage, or fraud, ensuring corrective and preventive measures.
- Coordinate with plant heads and vigilance teams for audits and security reviews.
5.
Liaison & Compliance- Liaise with local law enforcement authorities, government agencies, and community representatives on security matters.
- Ensure all security operations comply with statutory, legal, and company regulations.
6.
Administrative Responsibilities- Maintain security-related documentation, incident logs, and reporting records.
- Prepare periodic security and safety performance reports for management review.
- Supervise administrative activities for colony security and personnel movement.
Skills & Competencies:- Strong leadership and crisis management capabilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (especially in Kannada & English)
- Proficiency in SAP - Material Movement Modules.
- Knowledge of industrial security systems, fire safety, and emergency response planning
- Analytical and investigative skills for security risk management.
