Age : 45-55 Years

Role Summary :
We are looking for a battle-tested Operations Leader to take complete ownership of P&L, manufacturing excellence, and business growth for our Foundry & Machining operations.
This is a high-stakes leadership role requiring a results-obsessed, execution-driven professional who can scale operations, improve margins, and deliver world-class performance in a highly competitive automotive environment.
Key Performance Metrics (KPIs)
- EBITDA Improvement: +X% YoY
- Plant OEE: >85% across foundry & machining
- On-Time Delivery (OTD): >98%
- Rejection / Scrap Reduction: <X% (continuous YoY reduction)
- Cost Reduction: X-X% annually (productivity + waste elimination)
- Capacity Utilization: >90%
- Safety: Zero fatality
- Inventory Turns: Improved working capital efficiency
Core Responsibilities :
1. P&L & Business Leadership :
- Own full P&L responsibility for Foundry & Machine Shop operations
- Drive revenue growth, cost optimization, and margin expansion
- Lead annual operating plan, budgeting, and financial performance reviews
2. Manufacturing Excellence :
- Drive world-class manufacturing practices across foundry (casting) and machining
- Improve productivity, throughput, and cycle time reduction
- Lead implementation of Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, Industry 4.0 initiatives
- Ensure robust process control, quality consistency, and zero-defect mindset
3. Operational Execution :
- Ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction across all programs
- Drive capacity planning, capex decisions, and plant scalability
- Optimize end-to-end value chain - from raw material to finished goods
4. Quality & Customer Excellence :
- Ensure strict adherence to OEM standards and global quality systems
- Lead customer audits, escalations, and resolution mechanisms
- Build a culture of first-time-right and zero customer complaints
5. Cost & Efficiency Leadership :
- Aggressively drive cost reduction initiatives (energy, yield, tooling, manpower)
- Improve foundry yield, reduce rework/scrap, and enhance machining efficiency
- Optimize procurement, vendor development, and supply chain costs
6. Team & Culture Building :
- Build and lead a high-performance leadership team across plant functions
- Drive accountability, ownership, and performance culture
- Develop succession pipeline and leadership capability
7. Strategic Growth :
- Support new business development & program localization
- Drive capacity expansion, technology upgrades, and automation initiatives
- Benchmark against global best practices in foundry & machining
Ideal Candidate Profile :
- Proven track record of heading large-scale Foundry + Machining operations
- Strong exposure to automotive OEM / Tier-1 environment
- Demonstrated success in turnaround, cost reduction, and margin improvement
- Deep understanding of casting processes + precision machining
- Strong financial acumen with P&L ownership experience
- Ability to lead in high-pressure, performance-driven environments
