Job Purpose

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Operating Officer (COO)/CFO to oversee and optimize our organization's ongoing operations and procedures. As a key member of the leadership team, the COO will be responsible for driving operational excellence, aligning operations with strategic goals, and ensuring business efficiency across departments.

Strategic Business Partnering

- Collaborate with business leaders to drive profitability, optimize cost structures, and influence business decisions.

- Support strategic initiatives with financial insights and risk assessments.

- Evaluate investments, new business models, pricing strategies, and expansion plans.

P&L Management:

- Full ownership of the P&L for the business unit/region/division.

- Monitor and analyze financial performance, identify variances, and implement corrective actions to meet targets.

- Ensure revenue growth, cost control, and sustainable profitability.

Business Growth & Transformation:

- Drive process improvements, digitization, and operational transformation initiatives.

- Lead expansion projects, including entry into new markets, business lines, or geographies.

- Promote innovation and change management across the organization.

Strategic Planning & Execution:

- Develop and execute business strategies to drive growth, market expansion, and profitability.

- Provide leadership in budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.

- Align operational goals with strategic business objectives.

Operational Oversight:

- Oversee day-to-day operations across functions such as sales, supply chain, finance, marketing, and service delivery.

- Improve productivity, process efficiency, and service excellence.

- Drive cost-saving initiatives and optimize resource allocation.

P&L Ownership:

- Drive end-to-end Profit & Loss responsibility for the business unit, including revenue, cost, margin, and bottom-line performance.

Cost Control & Optimization

- Review cost structures, suggest operational efficiencies, and lead cost-reduction programs.

- Oversee product profitability, contribution margin analysis, and overhead recovery.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

- Partner with operations, supply chain, HR, and product teams to ensure alignment between financial targets and business activities.

Governance, Compliance & Risk Management

- Ensure adherence to internal controls, policies, and regulatory compliance.

- Work closely with auditors (internal and external) to close audits smoothly.

- Identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
