Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee day-to-day business and manufacturing operations.
- Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with organizational business objectives.
- Drive operational excellence, productivity improvement, cost optimization, and profitability.
- Oversee manufacturing operations across plants and production facilities.
- Lead Supply Chain Management (SCM), procurement, purchasing, and logistics functions.
- Ensure effective planning and optimization of resources, materials, inventory, and supply chain processes.
- Oversee administration and Human Resources functions to support business and operational requirements.
- Provide strategic oversight of ERP, IT systems, and technology-enabled business processes.
- Drive financial performance improvement through cost control, operational efficiency, and resource optimization.
- Establish and monitor operational KPIs, budgets, targets, and performance metrics.
- Ensure compliance with EHS standards, statutory requirements, and organizational policies.
- Oversee pilot plant operations and ensure effective transition of successful initiatives into larger-scale operations.
- Identify operational risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Lead cross-functional teams and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
- Work closely with senior leadership and business stakeholders on strategic and operational priorities.
- Manage key external partners, vendors, and service providers as required.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 17 - 27 years of overall professional experience.
- Significant leadership experience in manufacturing and business operations.
- Strong experience managing large-scale manufacturing operations.
- Proven expertise across SCM, procurement, purchasing, administration, HR, and ERP/IT systems.
- Strong understanding of operational planning, cost management, productivity, and profitability improvement.
- Experience in managing multiple cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of EHS, operational risk management, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience managing plant operations and complex manufacturing environments.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to translate operational initiatives into measurable financial outcomes.
- Excellent leadership, strategic planning, decision-making, and stakeholder-management skills.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Candidates with experience in senior manufacturing leadership roles such as COO, Business Head, Operations Head, or Plant/Manufacturing Head will be preferred.
- Experience managing multiple business functions beyond manufacturing will be an advantage.
- Exposure to pilot plant operations and large-scale manufacturing environments will be preferred.
- Strong experience in operational transformation, cost optimization, and profitability improvement will be an advantage.
