This position would entail the following deliverables: - To successfully lead the integration of technology and digital solutions within the infrastructure company, contributing to its growth, efficiency, and competitive advantage of company and its allied businesses. - Develop the overall digital transformation strategy and specific plan(s) for the full lifecycle of technical implementation and new technology initiatives using the company's exclusive methodology and tools. Broadly it may include the following: - Develop and seamless integration of Digital and automation strategy in line with mandate of the Organization. - Interface with various Bus / functions to build and manage a digital ecosystem as part of the solutioning. - Measure / monitor and improvise digital efforts. - Identify new technologies such as AI that can support and enhance existing solutions. Key Responsibilities/Deliverables: Digital Transformation Strategy: - Develop and execute a comprehensive digital transformation strategy that aligns with the company's overall goals and objectives. - Identify opportunities to leverage technology and digital solutions to improve efficiency, productivity, and customer experience. IT Infrastructure Management: - Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, storage, and data centers. Ensure the IT infrastructure is scalable, secure, and capable of supporting the organization's current and future needs. - Manages annual OPEX and CAPEX budget for infrastructure, develops and ensure it is consistent with overall strategic objectives. Application Development and Management: - Manage the development, implementation, and maintenance of business applications and software solutions to streamline processes and support various functions. - Ensure that applications are user-friendly, reliable, and meet the needs of different departments. Data Management and Analytics: - Develop data management strategies to ensure the availability, integrity, and security of critical business data. - Implement data analytics capabilities to derive insights and support data driven decision-making. Cybersecurity and Information Protection: - Establish and maintain robust cybersecurity measures to protect the company's IT systems and data from potential threats and breaches. Conduct regular security assessments and implement necessary improvements to mitigate risks. Digital Project Management: - Lead and manage digital projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet specified requirements. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution. IT Governance and Compliance: - Establish and maintain IT governance frameworks to ensure adherence to IT policies, standards, and best practices. - Ensure compliance with relevant data privacy and IT regulations. Stakeholder Management: - Engage with internal stakeholders, such as department heads and senior management, to understand their IT and digitization needs. Provide effective communication and support to address their concerns and requirements. Vendor and Partner Management: - Evaluate and select IT vendors and technology partners to support the company's digital initiatives. - Manage vendor relationships and contracts to ensure service quality and cost-effectiveness. User Training and Support: - Provide training and support to employees to enhance their digital literacy and effectively use digital tools and systems. - Establish a helpdesk or support system to address IT-related issues promptly. Innovation and Research: - Stay updated with the latest technology trends and innovations in the infrastructure and IT industries. - Identify and assess emerging technologies that can drive innovation and improvements in the company's operations. Performance Monitoring and Reporting: - Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of IT and digitization initiatives. - Regularly report on KPIs and provide insights to senior management for strategic decision-making. Experience requirements: - Bachelor's Degree in Programming, Computer Science or related field. - 10+ years in a forward-progressing technology management background, preferably 5+ years of experience in large, cross functional teams influencing senior-level management and key stakeholders effectively across the organization and within complex contexts. - Should have led an IT organization managing mission critical IT projects. - Must have demonstrated proven ability to effectively lead and meet business objectives in a highly collaborative and high-performance work environment. - Must be comfortable with ambiguity and fast change with an ability to adapt quickly and easily. - Background of operating large-scale data centers footprints, supporting production systems. - Proven skills in Project Management - especially in the IT area - must be aware of the best practices and methodologies of Agile project management to support the infrastructure business. - Broad technology awareness and be abreast of how modern technologies work, including such areas as machine learning, data engineering, and IoT. - Business acumen - Extensive understanding of digital structures and products.
