CIO is accountable for the end-to-end management of Information Technology as a driver of competitive advantage of the company, both application enablement including automation and appropriate infrastructure support. The position is also responsible for continuous scanning of the ecosystem to understand and adapt new technology enabling business to leverage the same to get competitive advantage in the market place.


The position will also help the company drive growth by converting traditional analog businesses to digital, and oversee operations in rapidly changing digital sectors like mobile applications, social media and related applications, virtual goods, as well as web-based information management and marketing.

IT & Digital Strategy:

- Develop a shared vision and strategy for IT in the company, across all regions and multiple SBUs, multiple subsidiaries and operating entities aligned with the Company's growth strategies.

- Develop the digital strategy mission statement - end-to-end strategy, design and implementation of the company's digital roadmap.

- Connect digital investments to enterprise KPIs to drive positive digital transformation.

Business Enablement Across functions:

- Sales & Customer Experience: Lead the implementation and optimisation of CRM platforms (for eg. Salesforce) to improve customer engagement, sales effectiveness, and revenue growth

- Manufacturing & Operations: Drive automation and digital initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and cost efficiency

- R&D & Innovation: Enable digital tools and platforms to accelerate product development and innovation cycles

- HR : Implement and enhance HR systems to improve employee experience and workforce productivity

- Partners & Ecosystem: Ensure seamless technology integration and support to partners for efficient and effective business transactions

- Customer Experience: Leverage technology initiatives to enhance customer delight, retention, and share of wallet

Technology Delivery & Operational Excellence:

- Ensure deployment of right technology at optimal cost to enable differentiated service in the market-place


- Maximize technology support while maintaining optimal cost efficiency

- Drive high levels of process automation to reduce dependency on manual processes avoiding errors and re-work.

Innovation & Technology Advancement:

- Continuously scan the technology eco-system to identify new technology and proactively suggest initiatives to business adding value as a true enabler.

Information Security & Risk Management:

- Ensure the Information which is the main asset of the company is adequately protected from both external and internal threats through implementation of security policies.

Team Capability Building:

- Enhance technical skills of the team to be aligned to the eco-system
