Key Responsibilities:
1. HR Strategy & Leadership
- Design and execute a people strategy aligned with business goals, growth plans, and regulatory expectations of an NBFC.
- Act as a strategic advisor to the CEO and senior leadership on workforce planning, organization design, and leadership effectiveness.
- Build a strong HR leadership team and scalable HR processes suitable for rapid growth.
2. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Lead talent acquisition for senior leadership, critical roles, credit, risk, collections, technology, and branch operations.
- Develop succession planning and leadership pipeline for key roles.
- Drive employer branding initiatives to attract high-quality talent in a competitive financial services market.
3. Performance Management & Rewards
- Design and oversee performance management frameworks aligned with productivity, asset quality, risk management, and customer outcomes.
- Develop competitive and compliant compensation, incentive, and ESOP/long-term incentive structures, in line with RBI guidelines and Board-approved policies.
- Ensure pay-for-performance culture across levels.
4. Learning, Leadership & Capability Building
- Lead learning and development initiatives focused on leadership, credit underwriting, risk management, compliance, sales effectiveness, and digital skills.
- Strengthen leadership development programs for senior and mid-management.
- Promote a continuous learning culture across the organization.
5. Culture, Engagement & Change Management
- Drive a strong risk-aware, ethical, and performance-driven culture consistent with NBFC governance standards.
- Lead employee engagement, diversity & inclusion, and well-being initiatives.
- Support change management during expansion, restructuring, mergers, acquisitions, or technology transformation.
6. Employee Relations & Compliance
- Ensure full compliance with labour laws, RBI guidelines, HR governance norms, and internal policies.
- Oversee employee relations, disciplinary processes, and grievance redressal mechanisms.
- Act as a custodian of ethics, POSH compliance, and code of conduct.
7. HR Operations & HR Technology
- Oversee end-to-end HR operations including payroll, HRMS, policies, and reporting.
- Drive HR digitization and analytics to support data-driven decision-making.
- Establish strong MIS and reporting for Board and regulatory requirements.
8. Board & Stakeholder Engagement
- Work closely with the Board, HR & Nomination Committee on leadership succession, remuneration, and governance matters.
- Collaborate with regulators, auditors, and external consultants on people-related matters.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Postgraduate qualification in Human Resources / Management / Industrial Relations from a reputed institute
- 15-25 years of progressive HR experience, with significant experience in NBFCs, banks, housing finance companies, or financial services
- Prior experience as CHRO or Head-HR in a regulated financial services organization preferred
