Master Search India is retained by a Global Management Consulting and Business Services & Technology Consulting leader to find their INDIA CHIEF - HUMAN RESOURCES. As the organization enters its next phase of growth and transformation in India, we are seeking an exceptional INDIA CHIEF - HUMAN RESOURCES to lead the India people agenda and serve as a strategic member of the senior leadership team. Based in Bangalore / DNCR / Mumbai, the CHR will report to the India CEO with a strong global interface to the Global HR leadership and business leadership teams.
This is a business leadership role with a people mandate. The CHR will shape the organization's talent, leadership and organization strategy in close partnership with the India CEO and business leaders, while ensuring strong alignment with global priorities. The mandate encompasses organization design and effectiveness, leadership development, succession planning, talent acquisition and retention, performance and rewards, workforce planning, culture, employee experience, capability development, HR transformation and people analytics.
The opportunity is particularly significant because India sits at the intersection of the organization's global talent, consulting and technology ecosystem. The CHR will help strengthen India as a high - performing professional talent hub, build leadership depth for the next phase of growth, enable business transformation and ensure the organization has the capabilities, culture and leadership pipeline required to compete in a sophisticated global professional - services market.
KEY MANDATE:
- Partner with the India CEO and senior business leaders as a strategic adviser on people, organization and business performance.
- Translate business strategy and growth priorities into a differentiated India people strategy.
- Build a robust leadership and succession architecture across business - critical roles.
- Strengthen the organization's ability to attract, develop and retain high - caliber consulting, technology, analytics and professional - services talent.
- Shape organization design, operating models, workforce planning and productivity in response to evolving business requirements.
- Strengthen performance management, career architecture and rewards to reinforce accountability and high performance.
- Build future - ready capabilities across consulting, technology, AI, digital transformation, analytics and leadership.
- Drive a consistent, inclusive and high - performance culture while preserving the professional standards and values expected of a global consulting organization.
- Use people analytics and workforce insights to improve the quality and speed of leadership decisions.
- Lead HR transformation, process effectiveness and the evolution of the employee experience.
- Work seamlessly across India and global leadership structures, balancing local business priorities with global standards and expectations.
THE LEADERSHIP CHALLENGE:
The successful leader will operate at the intersection of business growth, professional talent and organizational transformation. This is not a traditional HR operations mandate. It requires an executive who understands the economics of professional services, the importance of talent leverage and the relationship between leadership quality, client delivery, productivity, growth and profitability.
The CHR will be expected to bring both strategic perspective and execution discipline, moving comfortably from boardroom - level people strategy to critical talent decisions and organization - wide transformation. The role demands influence without relying solely on hierarchy, given the organization's global and matrixed operating environment.
