Job Description:
Experience: 15+ years in HR (FMCG preferred), with experience in plant HR and commercial HR
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced HR Leader to head the Human Resources function for our FMCG operations, covering manufacturing plants, sales & commercial teams, and corporate support functions. The incumbent will play a critical role in driving people strategy, cultural transformation, operational efficiency, and compliance across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Strategy & Leadership:
- Develop and implement the HR strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Partner with business heads to drive organizational design and effectiveness.
- Lead HR interventions across plants and commercial teams (Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, etc.).
Plant HR & IR (Industrial Relations):
- Oversee end-to-end plant HR operations including manpower planning, statutory compliance, and time-office.
- Ensure smooth wage settlements, long-term agreements, and harmonious union relations.
- Drive productivity initiatives, cost optimization, and capability building at plant level.
- Ensure 100% compliance with labor laws, audits, and safety norms.
Sales & Commercial HR:
- Collaborate with Zonal/RSM leaders to support field sales HR requirements.
- Drive performance management, incentive programs, and capability development for commercial teams.
- Lead talent acquisition, onboarding, and employee engagement for the front-line sales force.
Talent Management & OD:
- Identify and groom future leaders through robust succession planning and L&D programs.
- Institutionalize a performance-driven culture with structured KRAs and KPIs.
- Drive DEI (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion) initiatives across locations.
HR Operations & Digital HR:
- Streamline HR processes and implement automation/digital tools for efficiency.
- Manage payroll, HRMS, HR analytics, and other operational metrics.
- Lead HR MIS, dashboards, and employee lifecycle processes with excellence.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong exposure to Plant HR, IR, and labor laws
- Experience in handling multi-plant operations & large on-roll/off-roll workforce
- Strategic mindset with hands-on execution capability
- Leadership presence with strong stakeholder management
- Experience in driving transformation and change management
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and people management skills
Educational Qualifications:
- MBA/PGDM in HR from a reputed institute
- Additional certifications in labor laws, OD, or leadership coaching are a plus
