Chief Financial Officer - Mining Firm

The incumbent should be a Chartered Accountant with atleast 16 to 20 years of Experioence prefarbly from Manufacturing /Metals/Mining/ Heavy Equipmets organisation.

Financial:

1. Oversee the preparation of financial statements, reports and forecasts

2. Ensure compliance with all financial, tax and regulatory requirements

3. Manage budgeting processes and optimize financial performance

4. Ensure Audit Compliance and coordination with statutory auditors

5. Responsible for project financing, treasury management, banking relations and oversight of credit lines to ensure optimal financial operations & strategic funding

Customer:

1. Serve as the primary liaison for investors, auditors and financial institutions

2. Present financial reports and performance metrics to the board of directors

3. Ensure transparency and accountability in all financial reporting

4. Managing relationships with Banks / Financial Institutions & Credit Rating Agencies

Operational:

1. Lead and mentor the finance and accounting teams

2. Oversee cash flow, capital structure and investment strategies

3. Establish internal controls and improve operational efficiency

Strategic Leadership:

1. Provide financial insights and guidance on business decisions and growth opportunities

2 Lead long term financial planning and risk management

3 Working closely with the Board of Directors to ensure regular reporting for good corporate governance
