Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business goals.
- Lead long-term financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Provide financial insights to support strategic decisions by the board and management.
2. Regulatory Compliance & Governance:
- Ensure full compliance with RBI regulations, Companies Act, Tax laws, and other statutory requirements.
- Oversee RBI returns (NBS, ALM returns, CCR, SBR, etc.).
- Liaise with regulators, auditors, credit rating agencies, and trustees.
3. Financial Operations & Controls:
- Oversee accounting, financial reporting, and closure of books as per Ind-AS/IGAAP.
- Strengthen internal controls and ensure robust financial governance.
- Monitor operating expenses, cost optimization, and profitability analysis.
4. Treasury & Fund-Raising:
- Manage liquidity, cash flow, and capital structure.
- Raise debt from banks, financial institutions, capital markets, and alternative lenders.
- Handle securitization, assignment transactions, and bond issuances.
- Manage lender relationships and negotiate borrowing terms.
5. Risk Management:
- Oversee credit, market, and operational risk frameworks.
- Ensure ALM (Asset-Liability Management) compliance and monitoring.
- Develop stress-testing, scenario analysis, and financial risk models.
6. Investor & Stakeholder Management:
- Maintain communication with investors, board members, and key stakeholders.
- Prepare investor presentations, board notes, and MIS dashboards.
- Maintain strong relationships with rating agencies to optimize credit ratings.
7. Technology & Process Improvement:
- Drive automation in finance processes (ERP, LOS/LMS integration, reporting tools).
- Implement systems to improve accuracy, transparency, and turnaround time.
Qualifications & Experience:
Educational Requirements:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) mandatory.
- Additional qualifications like MBA (Finance) / CFA preferred.
Experience:
- Significant experience in NBFC sector is essential.
- Proven track record in fund-raising, regulatory compliance, and financial strategy.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of RBI regulatory framework for NBFCs.
- Expertise in accounting standards, Ind-AS, taxation, and audit processes.
- Excellent financial modelling, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage high growth environments and complex financial structures.
