Job Description: Chief Financial Officer
Reports To: Executive Director/MD
Work Location: Kaggalipura, Kanakapura Road
Qualification and Skills:
- Education: Chartered Accountant (CA), or equivalent qualification; MBA in Finance is a plus
- Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience with minimum 5 years in financial leadership role in the manufacturing industry.
Mandatory Preference:
- Minimum 10 years of manufacturing industry experience.
- Proficiency in Kannada and South Indian languages.
- Work Location: Load Controls, Bengaluru.
- Age below 45 years.
Skills:
- Proficiency in ERP systems, financial modeling, and analytics.
- Strategic and analytical thinking with a focus on results.
- Proven expertise in strategic planning, risk management, and operational efficiency.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Direct (Income Tax) and Indirect (GST) taxation, financial principles, accounting standards, compliance frameworks, and company law procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Financial Leadership:
- Develop and execute the organization's financial strategy to support long-term goals.
- Provide insights and recommendations to the management on financial performance, risks, and opportunities.
- Drive initiatives to enhance profitability and operational efficiency.
Financial Reporting and Analysis:
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Present accurate and timely financial reports to the stakeholders.
- Provide data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Monitor performance against budgets, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions.
Cash Flow and Treasury Management:
- Ensure optimal cash flow to support operational needs and strategic investments.
- Manage working capital efficiently, including receivables, payables, and inventory.
- Oversee treasury operations, including banking relationships, investments, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities:
Accounting and Compliance:
- Ensure the timely and accurate closing of accounts in adherence to GAAP, IFRS, and other regulatory standards.
- Oversee compliance with tax, legal, and regulatory requirements, including audits and filings.
- Supervise accounting functions such as general ledger, accounts payable, and receivable.
Taxation and Risk Management:
- Manage tax strategy, ensuring timely filings and compliance with GST, Income Tax, TDS, and other obligations.
- Collaborate with external advisors to resolve tax-related issues and optimize tax efficiency.
- Mitigate financial risks by implementing robust internal controls and compliance frameworks.
Audit and Governance:
- Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring timely closure of observations.
- Strengthen governance by implementing audit recommendations and maintaining transparency.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team to achieve high performance.
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide professional development opportunities.
Cost and Efficiency Management:
- Drive cost-saving initiatives and implement effective cost-control measures.
- Monitor production costs, operational expenses, and overheads to enhance profitability.
ERP and Financial Technology:
- Oversee the deployment and maintenance of ERP systems to streamline financial processes.
- Champion automation and technology adoption to improve accuracy and efficiency.
