Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly accomplished Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the end-to-end finance function for a fast-growing healthcare enterprise. The role will be responsible for driving financial strategy, strengthening governance, and ensuring robust financial controls to support business expansion and long-term sustainability.

The incumbent must also have hands-on IPO experience from the initial preparation stage through successful listing, including regulatory coordination, financial structuring, and investor readiness.

This is a leadership role requiring deep expertise in finance, strong business acumen, and the ability to work closely with promoters and senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the overall finance, accounts, taxation, audit, and compliance functions.

- Drive financial strategy, planning, budgeting, and forecasting aligned to business goals.

- Ensure strong financial controls, governance frameworks, and risk management.

- Oversee statutory compliance, internal audits, and regulatory reporting.

- Lead working capital management, cash flow optimization, and cost control initiatives.

- Provide strategic financial insights to the board and senior management for business decisions.

- Support business expansion, mergers, acquisitions, project financing, and capex planning.

Lead IPO execution from the initial preparation stage until successful listing, including:

- IPO structuring and financial readiness

- Coordination with investment bankers, legal advisors, auditors, and regulators

- Due diligence, DRHP preparation, and regulatory approvals

- Investor presentations and roadshows

- Manage relationships with banks, investors, auditors, and regulatory authorities.

- Lead, mentor, and build a strong high-performing finance team.

Candidate Profile:

- Mandatory: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).

- 15-20 years of total experience in finance leadership roles.

- Mandatory IPO experience from initial stage to IPO listing.

- Prior experience in Healthcare / Hospital / Pharma / Retail sectors preferred.

Strong exposure to:

- Regulatory compliance & governance

- Fund management & stakeholder management

- Fluency in Tamil is mandatory.

- Must be willing to work full-time from Chennai.
