Role of CFO:

The role involves strategic financial initiatives for shareholder value creation, collaboration with leadership, and optimizing profitability. In treasury management, it includes overseeing cash, liquidity, and working capital, with a focus on capital allocation and risk management. Compliance and risk management ensure adherence to regulations and internal controls. Financial reporting involves accurate statements, analyses for insights, and stakeholder communication.


The position covers taxation, compliance, and collaboration with external tax advisors. Controllership oversees the financial control environment and statement preparation. Finance business partnering collaborates with units, aligning financial strategies with business objectives. Investor relations involve developing relationships and communicating financial performance. Stakeholder management engages internal and external parties transparently. Succession planning includes talent identification and collaboration with HR for a robust pipeline.

Key Responsibilities:

Shareholder Value Creation:

- Develop and execute financial strategies aimed at maximizing shareholder value.

- Implement initiatives to enhance profitability, revenue growth, and return on investment.

- Collaborate with executive leadership to align financial goals with shareholder expectations.

Treasury Management:

- Oversee cash management, liquidity, and working capital to optimize financial resources.

- Develop and implement strategies for efficient capital allocation and risk management.

- Evaluate and recommend appropriate financing options to support business objectives.

- Compliance and Risk Management:

- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, accounting standards, and reporting requirements.

- Develop and enforce robust internal controls to mitigate financial risks.

- Lead risk assessment efforts and develop strategies to address identified risks.

Financial Reporting and Analysis:

- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements and reports.

- Conduct financial analysis to provide insights into business performance.

- Communicate financial results to internal and external stakeholders.

Taxation:

- Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize the company's tax position.

- Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and reporting requirements.

- Collaborate with external tax advisors to stay informed about changes in tax laws and regulations.

- Controllership:

- Oversee the company's financial control environment to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.

- Implement and monitor internal controls to mitigate financial risks.

- Lead the preparation of financial statements and reports in accordance with accounting standards.

Finance Business Partnering:

- Collaborate with business units to provide financial insights that support decision-making.

- Work closely with operational leaders to understand business goals and challenges.

- Drive financial strategies that align with and support overall business objectives.

Investor Relations:

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential investors.

- Communicate financial performance and strategic initiatives to the investment community.

- Organize and participate in investor meetings, conferences, and presentations.

Stakeholder Management:

- Engage with internal stakeholders, including executive leadership and department heads, to understand financial needs and challenges.

- Facilitate transparent communication with internal teams regarding financial performance and goals.

- Manage external stakeholder relationships, ensuring positive interactions with regulators, industry groups, and other external partners.

Succession Planning:

- Develop and implement succession plans for key financial roles within the organization.

- Identify and nurture talent to ensure a smooth transition in critical financial positions.

- Work closely with HR and executive leadership to build a robust talent pipeline.
