About the Organisation:

Our client is a well-established charitable organisation with a legacy of over a century, committed to delivering affordable and accessible healthcare through a multi-location network across North India. Governed by a Board of Trustees, the organisation operates with a strong social impact focus while maintaining high standards of governance and financial stewardship.

Role Overview:

- The CFO will lead the organisation's finance function, ensuring robust financial management, governance, compliance, and strategic support for a geographically distributed operational network.

- Reporting to the Board of Trustees, the CFO will partner with senior leadership to drive financial sustainability, strengthen internal controls, and support the organisation's long-term mission.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the Finance & Accounts function across the organisation.

- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, and cash flow management.

- Ensure compliance with all statutory, regulatory, tax, and financial reporting requirements, including FCRA and donor-funded programme compliance.

- Manage internal and external audits and coordinate with auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities.

- Prepare financial reports, budgets, and strategic insights for the Board of Trustees and funding partners.

- Strengthen governance, internal controls, and financial processes across multiple operating locations.

- Drive cost optimisation initiatives and enhance financial efficiency.

- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team while supporting organisational growth.

Candidate Profile:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred.

- 1520 years of progressive finance leadership experience.

- Experience in healthcare, hospitals, charitable trusts, NGOs, foundations, educational institutions, or other mission-driven organisations will be preferred.

- Strong expertise in accounting, taxation, treasury, audits, statutory compliance, and financial governance.

- Demonstrated experience working with Boards, Trustees, or senior leadership teams.

- A collaborative leader with strong business acumen and an appreciation for purpose-driven organisations.
