We're Hiring Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for a leading Manufacturer of chemicals:-

Educational Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA)

Experience: 10-15 years of progressive experience in finance roles, preferably within a chemical or process manufacturing industry ( Minimum 3-5 years in a senior leadership role (Head Finance / CFO / Dy. CFO).

Position Summary :

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will lead and oversee the entire finance function of the chemical manufacturing company, ensuring strong financial governance, statutory compliance, cost optimization, and strategic financial planning.


The role is critical in driving profitability, managing risks, supporting business growth, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements specific to the chemical industry.The CFO will work closely with the Managing Director, plant leadership, and senior management to align financial strategy with business objectives, improve operational efficiency, and support long-term sustainability.

1. Financial Strategy & Leadership:


- Develop and execute the company's financial strategy aligned with short-term and long-term business goals.


- Act as a strategic partner to the MD/CEO and Board in decision-making, investments, and growth initiatives.


- Provide financial insights, forecasts, and scenario analysis to support strategic planning.


2. Financial Planning, Budgeting & Control:


- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and rolling financial plans.-Monitor actual performance versus budget and take corrective actions.


- Drive cost optimization initiatives across procurement, production, logistics, and overheads

3. Accounting, Compliance & Governance:


- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements as per applicable accounting standards (Ind AS).


- Ensure full compliance with statutory requirements including Companies Act, Income Tax, GST, Customs, Excise, FEMA, and other applicable laws.-Oversee internal controls, SOPs, and financial governance frameworks.


- Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.

4. Treasury, Cash Flow & Working Capital Management:


- Manage cash flows, banking relationships, fund utilization, and liquidity planning.


- Optimize working capital including inventory, receivables, and payables.-Handle banking operations, credit limits, LC/BG management, and borrowing requirements.

5. Taxation & Regulatory Interface:


- Oversee direct and indirect taxation including GST, customs duties, and import-export related compliances.


- Represent the company before tax authorities, auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies when required.

6. Risk Management & Controls:


- Identify financial, operational, and compliance risks and implement mitigation measures.


- Ensure insurance coverage and claims management for plant, assets, and liabilities

7. Systems, SAP & MIS:


- Drive effective use of ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / Tally or similar) for finance and controls.


- Ensure timely MIS, financial dashboards, and performance reports for management review.

8. Team Leadership:


- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounts team.


- Build a high-performance culture with strong ethics, compliance, and accountability
