Chief Financial Officer - BFSI

Key Responsibilities :

Financial Strategy & Planning :

- Lead the organizations overall financial strategy aligned with business objectives and growth plans.

- Drive budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and long-term financial planning.

- Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and Board based on financial analysis and projections.

- Ensure optimal capital allocation and profitability management.

Regulatory Compliance & Governance :

- Ensure compliance with RBI regulations, statutory requirements, and financial reporting standards.

- Liaise with regulatory authorities, auditors, and financial institutions.

- Strengthen internal controls, risk management practices, and governance frameworks.

- Monitor changes in regulatory guidelines and implement necessary financial and operational changes.

Treasury & Fund Management :

- Oversee treasury operations including liquidity management, cash flow planning, and working capital optimization.

- Manage banking relationships and ensure efficient fund utilization.

- Develop strategies for interest rate management and financial risk mitigation.

Fundraising & Investor Relations :

- Lead debt fundraising, capital raising, and financial structuring initiatives.

- Build and maintain relationships with investors, lenders, banks, and financial institutions.

- Support due diligence, negotiations, and documentation for fundraising activities.

- Present financial performance and business outlook to stakeholders and board members.

Accounting & Audit :

- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, audits, and statutory filings.

- Supervise internal and external audit processes.

- Drive process improvements and automation within finance functions.

- Maintain transparency and financial discipline across the organization.

Leadership & Team Management :

- Lead and mentor the finance and accounts team.

- Build a high-performance finance function with strong analytical and operational capabilities.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business expansion and operational excellence.

Desired Candidate Profile :

- Qualified CA / MBA Finance or equivalent qualification.

- 15- 24 years of experience in finance leadership roles within NBFC, Microfinance, Banking, or Financial Services.

- Strong understanding of RBI regulations, treasury management, and fundraising.

- Proven experience in strategic financial planning and audit management.

- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

- Experience in handling large-scale finance operations and managing investor relationships is preferred.
