About the role :

Responsible for overseeing all financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and providing strategic financial guidance to the company, including managing budgets, financial reporting, and supervising the accounting team.

Responsibilities :

Financial Planning and Budgeting :

- Develop and implement financial plans and budgets.

- Monitor actual performance against budget and identify variances.

- Provide financial forecasts and analyses to support decision-making.

Financial Reporting and Analysis :

- Prepare and finalize financial statements and reports.

- Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.

- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Accounting Operations :

- Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.

- Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.

Team Management and Development :

- Supervise and manage the accounting team, providing guidance and support.

Compliance and Risk Management :

- Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, tax laws, and regulations.

- Identify and mitigate financial risks.

- Conduct internal audits and reviews to ensure the integrity of financial systems and processes.

Strategic Financial Guidance :

- Provide financial advice and guidance to management on key strategic decisions.

- Assist in developing and implementing financial strategies.

- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in accounting and finance.

Candidate requirements :

Qualification : CA/MBA - Finance

Experience : 15 yrs and above.

Technical Skills : Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems.

Soft Skills : Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Leadership Skills : Ability to lead and motivate a team.
