On behalf of our client we are seeking a highly accomplished and visionary Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead Finance, Accounts, and Compliance functions. This executive-level role is pivotal to company's strategic growth, capital market compliance, investor relations & engagement, and financial stewardship. The ideal candidate will be the one with deep experience in corporate finance, investor relations, statutory compliance for listed companies, and financial strategy, with a proven track record of working with NSE/BSE-listed organizations.
About Company: It is a prominent distributor of cutting-edge technology products, delivering excellence in IT, network solutions, lifestyle, and security solutions. They are known for the innovation, reliability, and customer-first approach. Company is PAN India Distribution specialist in peripherals, a trusted partner for global brands like Samsung, Honeywell, ViewSonic etc in India.
Salary budget : 40lacs to 50lacs p.a.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Leadership:
- Lead the Accounts & Finance departments, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and statutory audits.
- Oversee preparation and finalization of quarterly and annual financial results as per SEBI and NSE requirements, including investor presentations.
- Develop and implement robust financial strategies, cost optimization, risk management, and performance KPIs aligned with business objectives.
2. Compliance & Governance:
- Ensure strict adherence to SEBI (LODR) Regulations, Companies Act, and other regulatory frameworks.
- Supervise the Chief Compliance Officer, ensuring all statutory and exchange-related filings are accurate and timely.
- Maintain internal control systems and oversee the implementation of ERP or financial software as needed.
3. Investor Relations & Fundraising:
- Act as the face of the company for Investor Relations, handling all communication with institutional investors, analysts, and shareholders.
- Lead fundraising efforts, including debt, equity, and strategic partnerships, with a deep understanding of capital markets.
- Organize investor meetings, earnings calls, and roadshows to effectively communicate the company's strategy and performance.
4. Strategic Finance & Business Acumen:
- Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making, including expansion, M&A, capex, and diversification.
- Partner with the Chairman and Board on strategic initiatives, scenario planning, and long-term business modelling.
- Monitor industry trends, financial risks, and competitive benchmarks to proactively steer the company's growth.
5. Credit Control and Working Capital Management:
- Oversee the Credit Control Department, ensuring prudent receivables management, credit risk assessment, and working capital optimization. Provide leadership to the Credit Control function, ensuring receivables discipline and customer risk assessment.
- Work closely with sales and procurement teams to balance growth with financial discipline.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) is mandatory; additional qualification like MBA (Finance) or CMA is preferred.
- Minimum 15+ years of experience, with at least 5 years as a CFO in an NSE/BSE listed company.
- Proven expertise in SEBI compliance, LODR regulations, FEMA, and experience in handling quarterly results declaration and investor presentations.
- Prior exposure to fundraising (debt/equity) and investor management is essential.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage cross-functional teams.
- Sound knowledge of Indian accounting standards (Ind-AS), taxation, and capital market dynamics.
