Chief Compliance Officer - Insurance Responsibilities: - Advise leadership team and other stakeholders on various initiatives to mitigate third party corruption risks and other risks related to financial crimes. - Design and implement processes, policies, and systems to identify and mitigate various third-party risks, including corruption risks. - Develop appropriate network in organization to better understand the organizations exposure to financial crime risks and take steps to prevent and mitigate such risks. - Liaison with regulatory authorities (IRDAI) & represent the organization in relevant matters; along with working closely for Board related items - Develop trainings and other reference material through team, to be used across the organization to spread awareness about corruption and other financial crime risks and initiate necessary initiatives to ensure greater visibility of these risks among employees and third parties. - Conduct due diligence, independent reviews, analysis and risk scoring of third parties in compliance with applicable policies. - Work closely with Global managers & counterparts across the organisation for all relevant matters along with local stakeholders Competency: - Thorough knowledge of Compliance practices and understanding of Indian Laws and Regulations. - Excellent communication skills - Strategic Thinking & Innovative Approach - Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with an ability to develop working relationships with a wide range of internal and external personnel. - Strong ability to draft, analyze, interpret and negotiate complex items & reports
