Role Overview:

As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with our key clients.

You will act as the primary point of contact, ensuring customer satisfaction, increasing client retention, and driving revenue growth through upselling and cross-selling our services.


Key Responsibilities:


- Build and nurture long-term relationships with assigned key accounts to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.


- Act as the primary liaison between the client and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution and delivery.

- Conduct regular check-ins and quarterly business reviews with clients to understand their needs and identify areas for growth.

- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to maximize revenue from existing accounts.

- Proactively pitch additional services or solutions that align with the clients business objectives.

- Work closely with the sales team to develop tailored proposals and presentations.

- Understand the clients industry, market trends, and competitive landscape to provide insights and add value.

- Collaborate with internal teams to create account plans and strategies to meet client objectives.

- Ensure alignment of service delivery with client expectations, timelines, and budgets.

- Meet or exceed revenue and retention targets for assigned accounts.

- Track and forecast key account metrics, including sales growth, profit margins, and customer satisfaction.

- Address client issues or concerns promptly and ensure they are resolved effectively.

- Work with internal teams to mitigate risks, manage escalations, and improve service delivery.


Skills & Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

- MBA is a plus.

- 6-10 years of experience in Key Account Management, client servicing, or sales, preferably in the IT/software industry.

- Proven experience in managing enterprise-level clients and driving revenue growth.

- Knowledge of IT services, software development life cycle (SDLC), and outsourcing models (dedicated team, fixed-cost, etc.

- Familiarity with tools like CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce) and project management tools (JIRA, Asana) is preferred.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle high-pressure situations.

- A consultative approach to client management with the ability to think strategically.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on results.

- Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings or events.
