Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute recruitment strategies for upGrad GSP in North and South India, in collaboration with the VP - India.
- Agent Relationship Management: Directly manage relationships with recruitment agents, ensuring B2B sales targets are met or exceeded.
- Team Leadership: Lead a team of Business Development Managers (BDMs) to recruit students from their respective geographies, ensuring quality recruitment to partner universities through a robust network of study abroad agents.
- Target Achievement: Ensure each BDM within the team meets or exceeds their individual targets, enabling the overall regional target to be achieved.
- Collaboration with Admissions: Work closely with the admissions team to ensure competitive requirements are maintained and the recruitment pipeline is optimized, addressing any admissions challenges promptly.
- Marketing Coordination: Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure timely production of relevant marketing materials and the execution of campaigns to achieve recruitment targets.
- Conversion Optimization: Partner with the conversion team to design and implement campaigns aimed at maximizing conversion rates through effective planning and messaging.
- Strategic Partnerships: Build and maintain strategic, market-leading relationships with agents across India to drive growth and enhance market presence, ensuring targets are consistently met or surpassed.
- Compliance and Standards: Stay fully informed about admissions criteria, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance in all recruitment activities.
- Student Engagement: Participate in recruitment events and provide guidance and counseling to prospective students.
- Reporting and Market Intelligence: Prepare and disseminate comprehensive reports on market visits, ensuring valuable market intelligence is shared across the organization.
- Training and Collaboration: Work collaboratively with recruitment colleagues to provide training and support to staff involved in student recruitment activities.
- Additional Duties: Undertake any other duties within the scope of the role as required by the business.
