Job Description - Business Analyst

Role Overview:

We are looking for a proactive and analytical Business Analyst to support financial technology initiatives by translating business requirements into effective solutions. The role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders and technical teams to drive process improvements, system enhancements, and data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from internal and external stakeholders.

- Analyze existing business processes, systems, and workflows to identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams including product, development, operations, and QA to design and implement fintech solutions.

- Prepare and maintain business requirement documents, functional specifications, and process flows.

- Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables aligned with business goals.

- Support development, UAT, and implementation phases of new systems or enhancements.

- Perform data analysis and prepare dashboards, reports, and insights to support business decisions.

- Ensure solutions comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

- Assist senior management with business cases, presentations, and strategic analysis.

- Identify risks, dependencies, and issues, and propose mitigation strategies.

Skills & Qualifications:

- 2 to 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in Fintech or Financial Services

- Strong hands-on experience in API Integration and SQL

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills

- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

- Exposure to Agile / Scrum methodologies is an added advantage

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, and other data analysis tools
