- The Principal Finance Systems and Reporting Analyst is a contributor responsible for responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial data across SAP ECC/S4, CCA, COPA, and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).

- This includes cross-system data migrations, reconciliations, system rollups, allocations, master data governance, and planning system administration.

- The position plays a critical role during forecast, budget, and month-end close cycles, supporting global reporting and FP&A requirements.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Cross-System Data Migration & Validation

- Extract and migrate financial data (Actuals, Forecasts, Budgets, FX rates, etc. ) from source systems (S4, SAC, legacy systems, and Excel files) into SAP CCA (KP06) and COPA (KE21).

- Perform immediate post-load reviews and reconciliations using KE24/KE25 to ensure data consistency between source and destination systems.

- Investigate and resolve variances by reviewing mappings, assignments, master data attributes, and system configurations.

- Implement corrective actions to ensure data accuracy and completeness.

Data Reconciliation & Variance Analysis:

- Perform detailed reconciliations using KE24, KE25, and KE30, comparing ECC CCA/COPA data against source systems and Excel-based inputs.

- Identify, analyze, and resolve discrepancies immediately to minimize downstream reporting impact.

- Document reconciliation issues, root causes, and resolution actions.

COPA & CCA Allocations and Cycle Management:

- Configure, maintain, and execute assessment cycles in COPA (KEUB/KEU5) and CCA (KSUB/KSU5).

- Ensure accurate cost allocations from CCA to COPA and within CCA.

- Maintain a deep understanding of technical COPA parameters to ensure allocations post correctly to intended profitability segments.

- Perform post-cycle reconciliations to confirm allocation accuracy and completeness.

Financial Data Integrity & System Rollups:

- Validate that GL trial balances are fully and accurately loaded into CCA and subsequently rolled up into COPA.

- Monitor and manage staggered regional submissions and frequent data changes.

- Perform high-frequency system rollups and reconciliations to ensure all actuals, forecasts, and budgets are complete and accurate ahead of hard-close reporting deadlines.

- Proactively identify risks to data integrity and address issues before close.

System Troubleshooting & Root Cause Analysis:

- Troubleshoot discrepancies in COPA and CCA by drilling down to the source document level.

- Trace data flows from the General Ledger through cost centers and profitability segments.

- Identify root causes such as manual posting errors, mapping misalignments, master data issues, or system logic failures.

- Partner with Finance, IT, and FP&A teams to implement sustainable fixes.

Master Data Governance & Hierarchy Management:

Create and maintain SAP master data and hierarchies using:

- KS01/KS02 - Cost Centers

- KE51/KE52 - Profit Centers

- KSH1/KSH2 - Cost Center Groups

- Ensure all departments and cost objects are accurately mapped to support global reporting roll-ups.

- Maintain compliance with mandatory system and company-specific master data requirements.

- Support ongoing governance and audit readiness.

- Planning System Administration & Access Control (SAP Analytics Cloud)

- Serve as System Administrator for SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).

- Manage user access, roles, and permissions for planning models and cost centers.

- Coordinate monthly roll-forward of prior-period actuals into current forecast versions to establish FP&A baselines.

- Support planning cycles and resolve access or data issues for business users.

COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities):

- Strong expertise in financial systems, including financial data flows, structures, and hierarchies.

- Strong technical knowledge of ERP systems (preferably SAP).

- Proficient knowledge of financial planning and reporting tools (preferably SAP).

- Proficient in database tools, system reconciliation processes, and financial data governance practices.

- Solid understanding of financial close, planning, and forecast processes to support system requirements.

- Capable of self-management, demonstrating initiative and accountability without requiring close supervision.

- Ability to assess data integrity issues, trace root causes across systems, and implement lasting solutions.

- Strong analytics, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and documentation skills with meticulous attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy and quality.

- Effective verbal and written communication skills, with strong collaboration skills and ability to translate business needs into systems and data solutions.

- Capable of meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities and shifting deadlines.

- Experience working with various financial reporting systems, such as Business Objects or Hyperion.

- Understanding of financial statements and financial data analysis.

- Knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Information Systems, related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience required.

- An advanced degree (e. , MBA, CPA) is preferred.

- Experience in financial systems administration, data management, or financial operations.

- Eight years or more preferred.

- Experience with financial planning and consolidation processes, with a focus on ensuring data quality
