The Role: Head of Brand & Content
We are seeking an extremely talented storyteller to bring our brand's dream and values to life. The Head of Brand & Content will be the creative force responsible for defining, shaping, and entertaining our growing fan base. This role requires a self-starter who is ready to take on the challenge of building a category-defining brand in the fast-food space.
You will report directly to the CEO and enjoy significant autonomy in your work, with the necessary resources at your disposal to achieve phenomenal results.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be a creative leader with a hands-on approach to content and brand development:
Brand Strategy & Content Creation:
- Create phenomenal content (ideate, produce, and direct) that effectively tells the California Burrito story and significantly contributes to brand-building.
- Develop an effective content strategy that spans all core brand pillars and channels (digital, in-store, social, etc.).
- Ensure cohesiveness across all brand touch-points, ensuring alignment with the overarching brand strategy and voice.
Creative Management & Execution:
- Manage, mentor, and lead the internal creative team (design & content) to execute high-quality, impactful work.
- Plan and execute all photoshoots and videoshoots, maintaining high production standards and brand integrity.
- Write clear, concise, and inspiring briefs for all external creative partners and agencies.
- Oversee and manage external agency relationships, ensuring efficient execution of campaigns.
Consumer Insights & Market Building:
- Conduct consumer research to derive actionable insights that inform content and brand strategy.
- Identify key levers to build the fast-casual Mexican category in India, focusing on increasing brand penetration and market share.
- Engage with customers directly to foster a customer-focused culture and gather authentic feedback.
The Ideal Candidate Profile:
The candidate must be a passionate individual with a proven ability to build brands through powerful narrative.
- Experience: 4+ years of relevant work experience, preferably within a high-growth environment.
- The Storyteller: A strong ability to craft compelling narratives that resonate emotionally with our target audience.
- The Brand Builder: Proven track record in developing and executing brand strategies that drive awareness and loyalty.
- Self-Starter: Highly motivated, proactive, and ready to take ownership and embrace new challenges with minimal supervision.
- Agency Collaboration: Preferred experience working with creative agencies, including involvement in ideation, scripting, campaign execution, and managing multiple simultaneous campaigns.
- Creative Excellence: Strong copywriting skills with a meticulous eye for detail and the ability to maintain a consistent brand voice.
- Customer Focus: Comfortable and adept at interacting and communicating with customers to gather insights and build rapport.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: Commensurate with experience, up to 35 LPA (Lakhs Per Annum).
- Expenses: Conveyance and mobile expenses will be covered by the company.
