Job Summary:

- We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Specialist / Senior Specialist Automation to design, develop, and deliver automation solutions across various business functions.

- The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in UiPath or other RPA tools, a solid understanding of the UiPath RE Framework, and the ability to manage automation components from requirement gathering to production deployment with minimal supervision.

- This role involves collaborating with business SMEs, solution architects, and cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities, build robust workflows, and ensure high performance and reliability. The candidate must have a strong problem-solving mindset, the ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously, and a passion for improving processes through digital automation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. End-to-End Automation Ownership:

- Lead automation development activities across the full lifecycle requirement analysis, feasibility study, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.

- Work independently with minimal supervision to manage tasks, timelines, and deliverables.

- Coordinate with business stakeholders to understand processes, document requirements, and assess automation feasibility.

2. UiPath Workflow Design & Development

- Build secure, scalable, and robust automation workflows using UiPath Studio and Orchestrator.

- Apply UiPath RE Framework to ensure consistency, modularity, and reusability of automations.

- Develop reusable components, libraries, and templates to support faster future development.

- Ensure proper implementation of selectors, exception handling, retry mechanisms, and logging.

3. Computer Vision & Advanced Automation:

- Work with UiPath Computer Vision activities to automate processes involving image-based or virtualized environments.

- Identify appropriate use cases for CV, OCR, and AI-based interventions to improve automation accuracy.

- Optimize CV-based solutions to handle inconsistent interfaces, non-textual elements, and dynamic environments.

4. Documentation & Process Mapping

Prepare and maintain key project documentation such as:

- PDD (Process Design Document)

- SDD (Solution Design Document)

- Test cases & UAT reports

- User guides & deployment notes

- Document changes, enhancements, and version updates in a clear and structured manner.

- Maintain proper version control through Git or UiPath Automation Ops (if applicable).

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Conduct requirement workshops with SMEs, business users, and process owners.

Translate business expectations into workable automation logic and system interactions.

Collaborate with IT teams, BA teams, QA teams, and infrastructure support for smooth deployments.

- Provide regular progress updates and manage expectation alignment.

6. Troubleshooting & Optimization:

- Perform root-cause analysis for workflow failures, exceptions, and system issues.

- Optimize existing automations to improve speed, efficiency, and error-handling robustness.

- Monitor production bots via Orchestrator and apply quick fixes or enhancements as needed.

- Ensure system stability and compliance with automation governance standards.

7. Governance, Standards & Compliance

- Follow RPA best practices, coding guidelines, and security protocols while building workflows.

- Ensure all automations include proper logging, auditing, and credential masking.

- Align with enterprise RPA governance teams to ensure all deployments adhere to compliance guidelines.

- Support audits and internal quality checks by providing required documentation and evidence.

8. Multi-Project Management

- Handle and prioritize multiple automation initiatives simultaneously without compromising quality.

- Work in an agile environment, participate in scrums, and deliver automation increments effectively.

- Balance quick wins with long-term automation goals to maximize ROI and productivity.

9. Research & Continuous Improvement

- Stay updated on emerging automation technologies, UiPath enhancements, and industry trends.

- Experiment with new features (AI Center, Document Understanding, Integration Service, Apps) to expand automation capabilities.

- Suggest process improvements and identify new automation opportunities across business units.

- Mentor junior developers and contribute to internal knowledge-sharing.

Required Skills & Technical Competencies:

Technical Skills:

- Strong hands-on experience with UiPath Studio, UiPath Assistant, and Orchestrator.

- Knowledge of UiPath RE Framework for building scalable automations.

- Experience with Computer Vision activities and UiPath AI/OCR integrations.

- Good understanding of selectors, screen automation, image automation, and data manipulation.

- Experience working with Excel automation, database interactions, API integration, or queue-based processing.

- Ability to troubleshoot workflow issues, debug code, and optimize performance.

- Familiarity with Git, SVN, or other version-control tools is an added advantage.

Analytical Skills:

- Strong problem-solving skills to break down complex processes into automation-friendly components.

- Ability to analyze as-is process flows and build efficient to-be automation logic.

- Good understanding of process mapping, exception handling, and risk mitigation.

Soft Skills:

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.

- 2-4 years of hands-on RPA experience (UiPath preferred).

UiPath certifications such as:

- UiPath RPA Associate (RPA-A)

- UiPath Advanced Developer

- UiPath Orchestrator Practitioner (Preferred but not mandatory.)
