Role Summary


The role involves full P&L responsibility and driving business development across India for Operations & Maintenance (O&M) outsourcing in diversified industries, primarily focusing on pharma, manufacturing, and biomass and bioenegy industries. The individual will align activities with the strategic plans of the center through effective resource utilization, establishing contacts with decision-makers, acquiring new corporates and SMEs, managing client servicing, maintaining strong relationships, and generating revenue.


Key Responsibilities:


- Manage client relations at a senior level.


- Promote the organizations services to new corporate clients and retain existing clients.


- Generate new leads, aggressively grow the business, and retain market share.


- Set business development team objectives aligned with company goals.


- Write effective proposals for clients.


- Develop and innovate bundled value-added services (VAS) for clients.


- Demonstrate strong leadership skills to manage and guide team members.


- Coach and mentor sales representatives through continuous counseling and development.


- Network and build strong working relationships with group companies.


- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective vendors.


- Assign tasks and monitor the performance of team members.


- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to manage workforce deployment.


- Manage costs and expenses prudently.


Qualifications and Experience:


- Engineering graduates with an MBA are preferred.


- Minimum 14+ years of experience in business development, corporate sales, or B2B sales, specifically in O&M (Operations & Maintenance) service outsourcing.


- Preferably with exposure to engineering, chemical, biomass, bioenergy and process machinery industries.
