It focuses on building a scalable, process-driven food services platform, with expansion plans across cloud kitchens, industrial catering, healthcare catering, and corporate food services.

Role Overview

The Business Head will be responsible for leading and scaling the food services business across operations, growth, profitability, and people management. This role requires a commercially mature leader with deep domain expertise in food services and institutional catering, capable of instilling operational discipline while driving expansion into emerging and high-growth segments. Reporting directly to the Group CEO, the incumbent will play a pivotal role in strengthening business processes, driving execution excellence, and establishing a sustainable growth roadmap across multiple service verticals.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the overall business strategy and operational management of the food services division, ensuring alignment with the groups growth objectives and business priorities.

- Drive expansion and business development initiatives across cloud kitchens, industrial catering, healthcare catering, and corporate catering segments.

- Build scalable operating processes, governance frameworks, and delivery standards to enhance operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and profitability.

- Oversee end-to-end P&L management, including budgeting, cost optimisation, pricing strategies, productivity management, and margin improvement.

- Strengthen client acquisition and retention by fostering long-term relationships with corporate clients, industrial establishments, healthcare institutions, and channel stakeholders.

- Lead cross-functional operational teams across food production, kitchen operations, quality, supply chain, and service delivery, ensuring high standards of hygiene, compliance, and customer experience.

- Develop leadership capabilities within the organization through team mentoring, performance management, succession planning, and human development initiatives.

- Evaluate market opportunities, customer trends, and competitive dynamics to support sustainable business growth and expansion planning.

- Drive operational reviews and business performance tracking through structured MIS, governance mechanisms, and performance dashboards.

Qualifications & Experience

- Degree/Diploma in Hotel Management (IHM preferred).

- Minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar leadership role within food services, institutional catering, hospitality, or large-scale kitchen operations.

- Strong understanding of the food services business, encompassing operations, commercial management, quality standards, client servicing, and business expansion.

- Proven experience in managing large teams and multi-location operations.

- Significant exposure to process-driven business environments and structured operational management.

- Capability to lead cross-functional teams and manage business expansion initiatives across diverse catering segments.

- The candidate must be prepared to travel extensively from the Bangalore base location.
