About the role:

The Business Finance Head will lead the financial strategy, performance

management, and operational rigor.

In this strategic leadership role, you'll work closely with business heads and the central finance team to drive profitable growth, ensure financial discipline, and improve decision-making across diverse revenue and operating models.

Role Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute the end-to-end financial strategy for Auto Classified businesses, aligned with broader group objectives.

- Lead annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-range financial planning across multiple business lines.

- Deliver forward-looking insights and financial models to support growth initiatives, investments, and new product launches.

- Analyze P&L, cash flows, and operating KPIs across segments such as Enterprise, Marketplace, and B2B.

- Drive profitability management by identifying margin levers, cost rationalization opportunities, and operational efficiencies.

- Lead financial reviews across the portfolio and establish benchmarks to monitor commercial and operational performance.

- Serve as a trusted advisor to business heads across Used and New Auto lines, enabling data-driven decisions.

- Support strategic initiatives, including expansion into new cities, dealer/channel engagement, pricing, and monetization.

- Work cross-functionally with Sales, Ops, Product, and Risk teams to evaluate opportunities, mitigate risks, and optimize business performance.

- Drive end-to-end collections management, AR hygiene, and working capital optimization across B2B and C2D channels.

- Ensure timely and accurate book closures, revenue recognition, and expense tracking in coordination with central finance.

- Monitor credit risk exposure and drive proactive recovery efforts.

- Ensure full compliance with financial and regulatory requirements

- Lead internal and external audits and work with the internal audit on the closure of any process/control gaps.

- Strengthen governance mechanisms, internal controls, and process discipline across all verticals.

- Build and lead a high-performing business finance team that supports the complexity and scale of the combined Auto portfolio.

- Foster a culture of ownership, agility, and continuous improvement.

- Mentor team members and create growth pathways across finance roles

Education:

- CA

Experience:

- 8-12 years of experience in business finance, FP&A, or controllership roles

- Experience in managing complex portfolios with exposure to both consumer-facing and B2B businesses

Skills:

- Strong financial modeling, budgeting, and commercial analytics capabilities

- Hands-on experience with ERP and reporting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)

- Familiarity with collections management, AR tracking, and audit readiness

- Ability to lead high-impact teams and influence senior stakeholders

- Proven track record of aligning finance with business outcomes

- Strategic thinking, problem-solving, and strong communication
