Job Description:


We are seeking a proactive and driven Influencer Sales Officer to spearhead tertiary sales initiatives and develop strong influencer engagement in the wires and cables category. The role involves direct field execution, driving demand through site-level influence, and ensuring strong product movement across electrician and contractor channels.


Key Responsibilities:


- Drive tertiary sales through structured influencer conversions and ensure consistent coil movement by engaging with electricians, contractors, and other relevant influencers in the

assigned territory.


- Champion the promotion of New Product Developments (NPDs) and priority SKUs by conducting live product demonstrations and communicating benefit-based selling propositions at influencer sites.


- Identify and generate leads from influencer networks (IBs), collaborate with Market Development Managers (MDMs) to facilitate site-level product adoption, and coordinate with the internal sales team for seamless order closures and post-sale support.


- Activate and enhance product pull at Key Distributors (KDs) by building strong on-ground demand, supporting consistent product movement, and scaling up the influencer network.


- Demonstrate a solid understanding of electrical products, particularly wires and cables, and the operational dynamics of influencer channels including electricians and contractors.


- Utilize mobile-based reporting platforms such as Workozy, LMP, etc., for daily updates, lead tracking, and performance reporting to ensure efficient sales processes and visibility.


- Candidates with existing relationships and strong connectivity with key local influencers

(Electricians, Contractors, Institutional Buyers) will be preferred.


- Must possess the ability to work independently in a fast-paced market environment while effectively coordinating across multiple functions including sales, marketing, and distribution.


Candidate Profile:


- Post Graduate/MBA in any discipline; a diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical fields is a plus.


- 5-8 years of relevant experience in influencer sales, channel development, or tertiary sales within the electricals, construction materials, or FMCG sectors.


- Strong interpersonal skills with a knack for grassroots engagement and ability to influence decision-makers at the site level.


- Self-starter with excellent time management, field discipline, and cross-functional collaboration capabilities.
