Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, approach, and develop new customers in target sectors such as Automotive, Engineering, Defence, Heavy Machinery, and General Fabrication.
- Actively pursue vendor registrations and approval processes with major OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, and global manufacturing companies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with purchase heads, quality teams, production managers, and technical decision-makers.
- Generate enquiries, prepare quotations in coordination with the internal team, and follow up until order finalization.
- Conduct regular customer visits to understand requirements, communicate technical capabilities, and promote new grades/products.
- Track market trends, competitors, pricing, and demand patterns to support strategic business decisions.
- Coordinate internally with production, logistics, quality, and management to ensure timely deliveries and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain CRM/database of customer interactions, vendor registrations, and project pipeline.
- Provide periodic sales forecasts, MIS reports, and performance updates to management.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong industry network, preferably within Automotive OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, and Engineering companies.
- Deep understanding of Bright Bars, Steel grades, machining requirements, and quality standards.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Ability to navigate vendor approval processes and technical audits.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and comfortable with extensive travel.
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to handle technical conversations confidently.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Metallurgy, Mechanical, or related fields preferred. MBA Preferred.
- 3 - 8 years of experience in B2B industrial sales/marketing, preferably in Steel products, Bright Bars, Forgings, Machined Components, or related sectors.
- Proven track record of working with OEMs and multinational clients.
