Your Role:.
- The Business Development Manager Global Health is responsible for driving business development efforts for the organization's global health business unit.
- This role involves identifying and cultivating new business opportunities, building strong relationships with key stakeholders, and achieving revenue targets.
- The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of global health markets, strong sales acumen, and the ability to navigate complex sales cycles in a mission-driven environment.
Job Responsibilities & Duties:
- Lead the sales process from prospecting to closing deals, ensuring a robust pipeline of opportunities.
- Identify new business opportunities, markets, and customer segments in the global health sector.
- Collaborate with marketing, product development, and other teams to tailor solutions that meet the needs of clients and partners.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, international organizations, and private sector partners.
- Understand client needs and challenges, and position the organization's offerings as effective solutions.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring favourable terms that align with the organization's goals.
- Represent the organization at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to build brand awareness and generate leads.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.
Education, Qualification and Skills Needed:.
- Masters degree in Public Health, Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, or a related field.
- Candidates with BDS, MBBS or equivalent medical degree will be preferred.
- At least 3 years' experience in sales or business development.
- Preferably in Public Health or Health Tech, Healthcare or related field.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to close deals.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of clients and partners.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
- Experience with CRM systems and sales pipeline management.
