About the Role
The Business Analyst - Financial Transformation will be responsible for driving process improvements, analyzing financial systems, and supporting strategic transformation initiatives within the finance function. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance efficiency, integrate new technologies, and ensure seamless execution of financial transformation projects.
Key Responsibilities (KRAs)
- Evaluate existing financial processes and identify opportunities for improvement and automation.
- Gather, interpret, and analyze financial data to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with finance, IT, and business teams to define requirements for process transformation.
- Recommend and implement process re-engineering initiatives to optimize efficiency and accuracy.
- Support the design, testing, and deployment of new financial systems and digital tools.
- Lead project tracking, documentation, and reporting for financial transformation initiatives.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on project progress, performance, and outcomes.
- Assist in managing change initiatives, including communication, training, and user adoption activities.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, risk management, and regulatory standards during transformation.
- Monitor post-implementation performance to measure success and identify further improvement areas.
Required Skillsets
- Strong understanding of financial processes, systems, and data analytics in a banking or financial services environment.
- Proven expertise in process improvement, automation, and transformation projects.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools, financial modeling, and reporting systems (Excel, Power BI, etc.).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
