We are seeking a highly motivated and client-focused Business Account Manager / Key Account Manager to manage and grow strategic relationships with BFSI clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B enterprise sales, account management, and technology solutions. This role focuses on ensuring client satisfaction, driving revenue growth, and strengthening long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship & Account Management
- Build, manage, and nurture strong relationships with existing BFSI clients.
- Act as a trusted advisor, understanding client goals and aligning solutions accordingly.
- Ensure timely renewals and service continuity to maximize client retention.
- Conduct regular client review meetings, business reviews (QBRs), and feedback sessions.
Revenue Generation & Business Growth
- Achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets of approximately 2 Cr/year through upselling, cross-selling, and new business opportunities.
- Develop and execute account growth strategies tailored to client needs.
- Identify potential areas for solution expansion and increased product adoption.
Sales & Solution Delivery
- Handle the end-to-end sales cycle including proposal creation, negotiation, and contract closure.
- Conduct independent product demos, solution presentations, and consultations with client stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with sales engineers, technical teams, and leadership to deliver customized solutions.
- Lead proof of concepts (PoCs) and pilot programs to demonstrate solution capabilities.
Account Performance & Reporting
- Maintain accurate and updated client data, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts in CRM.
- Track key metrics such as retention rate, revenue growth, and upsell success.
- Prepare regular performance reports and insights for management.
Market Intelligence & Representation
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor landscape, and emerging technologies in BFSI and cybersecurity.
- Participate in industry events, conferences, and trade shows to represent the company and generate new leads.
- Identify strategic opportunities for partnership and expansion.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in Key Account Management or Business Account Management, preferably in BFSI, cybersecurity, or technology solutions.
- Proven track record of managing enterprise clients and achieving revenue targets.
- Strong understanding of BFSI processes, IT security solutions, SaaS, or enterprise software.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities independently.
- Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot) and MS Office Suite.
- Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field (MBA preferred).
